Graviola on Cancer
The main responsible for graviola’s anti-cancer properties is the set of chemicals called Annonaceous acetogenins. These compounds are only found in plant family Annonaceae in which graviola belongs.
Three separate laboratories have recently determined that these acetogenins are superb inhibitors of enzyme processes that are only found in the membranes of cancerous tumor cells. This is why they are toxic to cancer cells but have no toxicity to healthy cells.
Cancer cells may develop “energy pumps” after surviving chemotherapy. These pumps makes them resistant to anti-cancer agents making them even hard to kill.
